About Me

I am an architect designer.

In college, I lead an “Alternative Spring Break” trip to Appalachia to work on construction for homes in impoverished areas. I realized this is what I wanted to do in the future. After graduating from Syracuse University’s Graduate Architecture Program in 2014, I started my architecture career in New York City working with renowned firms SOM and KPF, designing and detailing commercial and residential towers in the US and Asia. But something was missing. I decided to leave the high end commercial tower world and get back to what drove me to be an architect in the first place: affordable housing. I spent the next 5 years working on exactly that, focusing on affordable housing buildings in NYC and surrounding areas. I still do that today but also have been working on single family homes and renovations. I have an M.Arch from Syracuse University, I am a registered architect in the State of New York, and I am a member of the AIA.

I am a furniture designer.

While working as an architect, the slowness of building was starting to bother me. I would design a facade or an interior and it would be years until I would see it. And someone else would be building it. I’m also a music lover and I wasn’t happy with the speakers I had connected to my record player. So I decided to make my own. I started with a little contractor table saw and a folding table in 2016. Over the last four years, I have built a full fledged wood shop equipped with everything I need to produce high end pieces of furniture. Living in New York City in a tiny apartment, you learn that custom pieces of furniture can be really useful and help define the space as your own. I started building furniture to replace everything in my apartment before I started making pieces for clients. I love collaborating with clients and finding the perfect solution for their needs. And I still love making high quality, top notch audio speakers.
