This TV unit was commissioned by a client who wanted something clean that held all the devices under the TV but was adamant that it did not touch the floor. So we came up with a design using sliding dovetails and a french cleat so the box could hang on the wall. His record player also hung on the wall above the TV, so we added a little feature that allows the record cover that’s playing above to slide into a groove along the piece and cover the door to the electronics behind.
