Karl House

The Karls wanted an extension on their summer Greenport, Long Island home. By bumping out and adding a new family room under a shiplap wood ceiling, the kitchen and dining room were opened up, creating more space for the family to enjoy the home and pool area just off the family room. The design seeks to create a monumental new wing as the amenity space of the home, implementing materials typical for a current beach home in the area. Updating the kitchen and interior floors also help brighten and freshen up the Karl House.
